This course presents an overview of the archival and repository centres throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (Eire) for conducting Irish research. In addition, further emphasis will be placed on the records available and held by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Family History Centers and other institutions.
We will discuss the types of records available through these various institutions, their availability, and how best to access these source records, both from the viewpoint of onsite research as well as from the more occasioned long-distance research methodology.
