The Certificate in Genealogical Studies program includes a designation for the record of a specific country. Listed below are the Record Groups available now for study and those Record Groups where course material is presently being prepared.

Should the Record Groups for a country you are interested in not be listed below, please send us an e-mail at: requests@GenealogicalStudies.com. You may be surprised to find out that it is the next Record Group to be added!

If you have expertise in a specific country, (listed or not) and would like to assist in the development of that Department or in the preparation of course material, please send us an e-mail at: requests@GenealogicalStudies.com. We would be happy to discuss possible opportunities with you.

The American Department is under the guidance of Beverly Rice, CG. She is a professional genealogist, author, speaker and researcher.

When discussing the records of the United States, resources for all states will be covered.

To receive your Certificate in Genealogical Studies-American Records you must successfully complete 28 Compulsory credits and 12 Elective credits. This includes 9 Compulsory courses at the Basic and Intermediate Levels and 10 compulsory courses at the Advanced Level.

The Australian Department is under the guidance of Kerry Farmer, BA, B.Sc.. She is a professional genealogist, author, speaker and researcher.

When discussing the records of Australia, resources for all states will be covered.

To receive your Certificate in Genealogical Studies-Australian Records you must successfully complete 27 Compulsory credits and 13 Elective credits. This includes 9 Compulsory courses at the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
